  • Monthly Mini Retreats – These events are still proving very popular so for the 3rd time this year I am collaborating with Lynn Carter (Doterra oils). This event is an invitation for you to step away from the hustle and bustle of life and nourish and nurture yourself with simple but effective yoga postures combined with breathing practices, meditation, mindfulness and deep relaxation. This mindful, intuitive and introspective morning of yoga practice is self-nurturing, allowing space and time to deeply restore and heal from the daily stresses (of physical, mental and emotional energy zappers). During this deeply restorative practice you will explore restorative and yin yoga postures helping you to learn to relax and rest deeply.

    During the practice you will have an opportunity to use the essential Doterra oils to nourish, nurture and support your body, mind and soul during the Winter months and seasonal period. Lynn will be on hand to answer any questions you have on the oils.

    This mindful, intuitive and introspective morning of yoga practice is self-nurturing, allowing space and time to deeply restore and heal from the daily stresses (of physical, mental and emotional energy zappers). During this deeply restorative practice you will explore restorative and yin yoga postures helping you to learn to relax and rest deeply.

    A few of the measurable results of deep relaxation and a slow practice are, a reduction in blood pressure and the improvement of immune function, as well as improvement in digestion, elimination and the reduction of muscle tension and general fatigue. Focusing on the ‘rest and digest’ element of a yoga practice and allowing our parasympathetic nervous system to bring us to a state of deep rest and relaxation.

    When the Yin and Yang energies of the body are balanced we feel grounded. A balance of effort and ease, action and surrender. If we create space in our busy lives to nourish our deep yin reserves through meditation, relaxation, mindfulness and ‘quiet time’ we have those reserves available when we need to call upon them.

    The session includes; yoga practice using lots of yoga props, breathing practices, meditation and a long relaxation. Suitable for all levels. The session will leave you feeling rested and restored. Mats and props provided at the studio. We will finish the session at approx 1.15pm where we will then share a relaxed shared lunch should you wish to stay a little longer.
