Hi! I’m a yoga teacher based in Henley-on-Thames, specialising in 1-1 and small group sessions (online during this time). I teach mostly hatha, hatha flow, vinyasa and yin yoga.
Here’s some general information about my classes and teaching:
My sessions are aimed at allowing you to discover a yoga practice that is right for you as an individual, which is something that can be lost in a bigger class. If you already have some experience or an established practice then a session can help you deepen this, grow in your practice and bring new insights. They allow you to find the pose in your own time, the alignment that is right for your body and to move at your own pace.
A session usually lasts 60 minutes but I am happy to be flexible around your schedule and commitments. During the first session we discuss your intentions, needs and preferences so that I can tailor my teaching specifically for you.
A session will usually include a slow warm up with breath awareness, before moving towards some standing flows and balances. We then finish with some longer seated poses and relaxation. This is a loose description however as a session is completely dependent on the individual.
I teach mostly hatha flow yoga but I am influenced by different styles that I have practiced over the years. I am also passionate about the benefits of meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques, which I can incorporate if you find that these are for you.
During this time I’m offering a trial session for £10, after that classes would be £20. Feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions or would like to discuss if classes are for you.
During this time I am offering one-to-one online classes for £20 per hour. The first class is at a reduced rate of £10 so that you can see if online yoga is for you.
