I am a qualified humanistic counsellor and therapist, and offer, short–term and long–term one–to–one counselling.
As a humanistic counsellor I take a holistic approach in understanding the unique experiences of my clients and their lives, the relationship with oneself, others, and the world around them. I value the uniqueness of every individual and provide a safe, supportive and non–judgemental therapeutic environment. Clients can express themselves freely, can feel understood, reflect on their experiences and recognise their inner resources and strength. I believe with the right support, using empathy and acceptance, there is the potential for positive change, healing and growth to take place.
I recognise that people come to therapy for a variety of reasons and want different things. You may be facing a challenging period, struggling to cope, experiencing painful emotions or just want to understand yourself a bit better. Talking to a counsellor and exploring the difficulties you are experiencing in a confidential environment may be a way forward for you. I will support you in finding your own insights, understandings and resolutions to the conflicts and difficulties you are undergoing, building your resilience or overcoming past destructive patterns to live a more fulfilling life in the present.
