I came to fitness in 2012 while working as a support worker for people with severe learning disabilities. I had not long finished my degree in Psychology and had put on a bit of weight, my confidence and self esteem was low, and I needed to make a change in my life. I signed up for a 10k race on a whim, and that’s where it all started.
Since then I have run races over distances from 5k to a marathon, completed an obstacle race to the summit of Snowdon and completed Tough Mudder. Not only running, I also spend time focusing on resistance and HIIT training and have been known to take yoga and pilates classes.
My job as a support worker was all about helping people to progress and meet their goals, and now I do that in a different way.
We Can Personal Training came about due to my own changed outlook on life since adopting a healthy and fit lifestyle.
I qualified as a Level 3 personal trainer and want to pass on my knowledge and experience to help other people gain confidence, enjoy exercising and above all, meet their health and fitness goals.
My service is fully inclusive with no discrimination and a focus on empowerment, team work between trainer and client, and learning to love and honour your body
