  • My name is Lisa Holyland, I am married with two children.

    I have a Frances Fewell diploma in Anatomy & Physiology, Massage & Aromatherapy which I qualified for in 1998.

    I also have an ITEC diploma in Reflexology, for which I qualified in 1999.

    I have a diploma in Indian Head massage 2008.

    I have a diploma in manicure & pedicure 2009.

    I am also qualified in Vertical Reflex Therapy and Maternity Reflexology, the latter I can highly recommend, I had reflexology in both my pregnancies and had very easy and not too painful labours!

    I have also attended 1 day workshops in advanced reflexology, reflexology and people with cancer and oncology.

    I have a VTCT Diploma in Thermal Auricular Therapy qualified in 2008

    I am also now qualified on Holistic nutrional therapy 2008

    I work from a purpose built studio in my back garden at home.

    I also work with mentally & physically disabled people with learning difficulties and elderly people in nursing homes.

    I am continuously improving my knowledge and skills, which enables me to offer high standards and support to my clients.

    What is aromatherapy?
    Aromatherapy is the use of pure essential oils extracted from plants, trees and fruits to promote healing and the health of body and mind. Aromatherapy is an ancient natural therapy that dates back to Egyptian times. It can be used in a variety of ways such as massage, inhalation, bathing or compress. Each oil has its own property and can help conditions such as headaches, muscle tensions, stress, cellulite, PMS and many more.

    Oils are available to use in neat form or mixed in a carrier as a prescription for various ailments.

    What is massage?
    Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues for therapeutic purposes. The effects of massage can help to relax the mind, body and muscles and may increase the blood and lymph flow. It can also help to reduce stress related symptoms, help to relieve pain and help improve skin condition.
